Starting from December 7, 2022, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia joined the Hague Convention of October 5, 1961 on the abolition of the legalization of the Foreign Public Documents. For that reason, the legalization by the Italian Embassy in Riyadh of Saudi Public Documents to be presented to the Italian authorities is no longer required. Which instead must be apostilled exclusively.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is the Authority responsible for issuing the apostille, to which the user is invited to refer to further information on the procedure to follow.
