In accordance with EU regulations and in connection with the upcoming G20 Summit in Rome Italy is temporarily introducing checks at inner Schengen border crossings starting from October 27th, 22.00 LT until november 1st , 13.00 LT.
The temporary exception to the freedom of movement within the Schengen area is being implemented in accordance with standard EU practice in connection to high-profil political summits and may cause significant delays to travels of third country nationals to Italy from within the Schengen area.
