The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has maintained for many years a fruitful and well-established partnership with the Academy of Performing Arts and Crafts – Teatro alla Scala, a globally renowned institution for training in the performing arts sector.
This collaboration includes, among other initiatives, the awarding of ministerial scholarships—governed by a specific agreement between the Ministry and the Academy—to support international students enrolled in the Global Master in Performing Arts Management (GMPAM). This program is designed to train high-level professionals with specialized managerial and economic skills tailored to the live performing arts industry.
For the 2025–2026 academic year, up to a maximum of 7 scholarships are available, each with a duration of 6 months (from January 1, 2026, to June 30, 2026). Each scholarship provides a monthly stipend of €1,000.
Please note that GMPAM scholarship recipients are required to independently obtain insurance coverage for illness and accidents.
