{"id":2447,"date":"2025-03-10T11:47:35","date_gmt":"2025-03-10T08:47:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ambriad.esteri.it\/?p=2447"},"modified":"2025-03-10T11:47:55","modified_gmt":"2025-03-10T08:47:55","slug":"grants-for-translations-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ambriad.esteri.it\/en\/news\/dall_ambasciata\/2025\/03\/grants-for-translations-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"Grants for translations 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><em>Grants and prizes by the Foreign Ministry for translations<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation promotes the dissemination of Italian publishing and cinematographic works abroad by providing incentives to translation and dubbing\/subtitling initiatives, as a strategic tool for promoting Italian language and culture abroad.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The Foreign Ministry provides two types of financial incentives:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><em>grant\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><em>for the translation of an Italian literary work, which has not yet been published abroad, and for the production, dubbing and subtitling of short\/feature-length films and TV series;<\/em><\/li>\n<li><strong><em>award\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><em>to an Italian work already translated abroad.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Proposals shall be submitted to the Italian Embassy (<a href=\"mailto:riad.culturale@esteri.it\">riad.culturale@esteri.it<\/a>), according to the Call regulations and procedures.
