Registration or the updating of your registry details must be completed prior to your appointment date via the <a href=\"https:\/\/serviziconsolari.esteri.it\/home\">FAST IT<\/a> website.<\/p>\n<p><strong>APPOINTMENT BOOKING PROCEDURE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Appointments can only be booked via the <a href=\"https:\/\/prenotami.esteri.it\/\">Prenot@mi<\/a> service. You must create or already possess an account to proceed with booking an appointment. The details in the Prenot@mi account <u>must exactly match the applicant&#8217;s personal details (including maiden name for women)<\/u>. Account creation is restricted to adults; minors are included under a parent or guardian&#8217;s account, listed in the \u201c<em>Additional applicant details<\/em>\u201d section.<\/p>\n<p><strong>C.I.E. ISSUANCE PROCEDURE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Documentation required for the issuance of the CIE:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a valid Italian identity document;<\/li>\n<li>the expired CIE;<\/li>\n<li>a copy of the <em>National Address<\/em>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>C.I.E. COSTS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u20ac 21.95, payable either in cash in SAR (exact amount) or with MADA card, in accordance with the consular fee schedule available at <a href=\"https:\/\/ambriad.esteri.it\/en\/servizi-consolari-e-visti\/\">https:\/\/ambriad.esteri.it\/it\/servizi-consolari-e-visti\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>BIOMETRIC DATA AND PHOTO CAPTURE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In person at the Consular Section.<\/p>\n<p><strong>DELIVERY<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Via <em>Saudi Post<\/em>. Kindly download the Saudi Post app to track the shipment. For issues or non-delivery, a dedicated helpline is available at 19992.<\/p>\n<p>Upon receipt of the CIE, the Italian national is responsible for emailing a PDF copy of the new document to <a href=\"mailto:riad.consolare@esteri.it\">riad.consolare@esteri.it<\/a> along with the signed and dated receipt.<\/p>\n<p><strong>CONSENT FORM FOR ISSUANCE OF DOCUMENTS FOR MINORS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To issue documents for minors, consent signed by both parents (or by the person(s) exercising parental responsibility) is required. A signed <a href=\"https:\/\/ambriad.esteri.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Modulo-di-assenso-al-rilascio-C.I.E.-a-minorenne-1.pdf\"><em>atto di assenso<\/em><\/a> (consent form) is necessary only if one of the parents (an EU citizen) is not present on the day of the appointment.
